All this to show how space technologies are transforming the lives of citizens, both in cities and rural areas.<\/p>\n<p><strong>New Space &amp; Solutions, which will be held from March 17 to 21 in Seville<\/strong> with two face-to-face and three virtual sessions, will bring together the national and international<strong> space and satellite industry<\/strong> to provide solutions to citizens. The aim is to convey that space helps and will help solve society&#8217;s problems in cities, rural areas, services, travel, companies and businesses.<\/p>\n<p><strong>A hybrid and pioneering agenda<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The event will combine <strong>face-to-face and virtual <\/strong>activities. During the <strong>first two days<\/strong>, attendees will be able to participate in keynote speeches, networking meetings and exclusive meetings between speakers, sponsors, authorities and media. Subsequently, during the three virtual days, the sessions will be available live and on demand through the digital platform \u201cThe Observatory\u201d, free of charge and available throughout the year.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Space solutions for everyday problems<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>New Space &amp; Solutions<\/strong> seeks to make visible how the space sector offers tangible answers to current challenges:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Emergencies and security<\/strong>: coordination in natural disasters and fires.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Healthcare and telecommunications<\/strong>: Remote medical solutions and connectivity in isolated areas.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Logistics and mobility<\/strong>: Optimization of transportation routes and intelligent mobility networks.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Agriculture and environment<\/strong>: Crop monitoring, drought prediction and ecosystem preservation.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Meteorology and maritime<\/strong>: Improved weather forecasting and safety in international waters.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key objectives of the event<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Promotion of space and its applications<\/strong><br \/>\nThe event will be a platform to show how space technologies can improve the quality of life, generating opportunities in strategic sectors.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Visibility of female talent in the sector<\/strong><br \/>\nCoinciding with International Women&#8217;s Week, <strong>New Space &amp; Solutions<\/strong> will highlight the fundamental role of women in the new space era, marked by initiatives such as the Artemis program, which seeks to send the first woman to the Moon.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Collaboration with the Administration<\/strong><br \/>\nA space for dialogue with supranational, national and local entities to promote policies such as the<strong> Strategic Space Plan<\/strong> and develop laws to boost the sector.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Funding and boosting startups<\/strong><br \/>\nIdentify sources of funding and attract investors that can help startups in the sector to overcome barriers such as risk assessment.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Universities and talent<\/strong><br \/>\nAddress the need to fill vacancies in the space industry, highlighting the role of universities, especially Andalusian universities, as a driver for talent training, with a focus on female participation.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Safety and sustainability<\/strong><br \/>\nShow how agencies and companies are working to ensure the sustainability of New Space by promoting responsible and safe practices.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Regulation and synergies<\/strong><br \/>\nEncourage the creation of a robust space industry through <strong>Public Procurement<\/strong> of Innovation and regulatory monitoring at national, European and global levels.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>A strategic commitment to the future<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The event seeks to consolidate itself as an annual benchmark, promoting Seville as a space innovation hub.
